Ibis Styles Ipoh Hotel

This is the newest hotel in Ipoh smack right in the centre of Ipoh town at Jalan Chung Siew On. Only opened for 5 months ago, the exterior of hotel is painted white so it's noticeable from far.

Rate starts from RM160++  for a queen deluxe room which includes breakfast for 2 person. Friendly front desk staff even offered me to sign up for Accor hotels membership to gain points for stay at hotels under this Accor group.

However, there's no gym or swimming pool here. But there's a MU Bar on the rooftop. Where you can have a drinks or two while enjoying Ipoh night view.

My only complaint is the water heater not functioning at times. It's not a big problem for me though as I like cold shower.
