Ming Yue at Pasir Pinji, Ipoh is famous for their traditional moon cake. I am lucky able to purchase their moon cake despite it's still about 2 months ahead of Mid Autumn festival. The mooncakes are very reasonable priced and it comes with generous "kuaci" which is one of their selling point. I bought the traditional plain lotus paste and white lotus paste without the egg yolk.
Basic box package for 4 pcs purchase
Chinese character describing types of mooncakes
White lotus paste
The moon cakes here does not comes in nice and catchy packaging. In fact, there's not even a label or individual packaging. Tasty moon cake but it's a little too sweet for my liking.
