Be Pimple Free With Himalaya

Thanks to The Butterfly Project, I am one of the lucky bloggers selected to attend a gathering with Himalaya to get to know more on their neem range products. It's happening at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe, Jaya One. This cafe even have bakery classes for children. 

So back to Himalaya, neem tree is indigenous to India and is cultivated all over the world for it's bark, leaves and fruit. Neem leaves combines antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal, astringent, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that creates a holistic remmedy against acne and pimples. For centuries, crushed neem leaves have been used to treat acne and improve skin texture. Alternatively dried neem leaves are ground to a fine powder, mixed with water and applied to the skin. The powder is also used in the production of food supplements.

First up, we started the session with some light stretching. Then we are introduce the traditional method of preparing neem with turmeric using the stone mortar. This concoction can be eaten for it's benefit or applied on our skin. I've tasted neem leaves and neem herbal tea before, all I've could remember is the bitterness. Really bitter to the max, I tell you! Surprisingly, with turmeric add on the taste is still bearable. 3 girls that volunteer to tried out the pounded mixture is given a gift.

Next up, we are challenge our creativity as we need to decorate a pieces of plain cookies sponsored by Fuwa Fuwa Cafe using Himalaya product and decoration provided. 

Best part is, we need to come up with the meaning behind of our decorations. Wah seh... all of us cracking our heads and looks super serious according to Shireen(PR)

My story.... To reach to the top, you will need to go step by step and cooperate with others only can get your milk(success) story of life from me got nothing to do with Himalaya. *knock knock my own head*

Anyway, 3 best decorated cookies and 3 best story teller is selected, sad to say yours truly is none of them. LOL... Congrats to the 6 lucky girls.

1) Purifying Neem Face Wash

Directions : Moisten face and massage all over, avoiding the delicate eye area. Wash and pat dry.

2) Purifying Neem Face Scrub 

Specially formulated to give you clear, problem-free skin, this scrub works with a dual exfoliation and purifying action. Combined with exfoliating Apricot granules, it gently scrubs away blackheads, dead skin cells and embedded impurities, leaving your skin soft, clear, refreshed and problem-free. Directions : Apply scrub in a circular motion on the face and neck. Rinse with water and pat dry. Use at least once a week for clear, acne-free skin.

3) Neem Face Pack 

Face pack is aka face mask, helps cleans clogged pores, rejuvenates and firms up the skin. It contains neem, which has antibacterial properties and tumeric which helps eliminate acne causing bacteria while Fuller's Earth colls and soothes the skin. 

Directions : Cleanse the face and neck. Apply evenly all over the face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes and mouth. Let the mask dry for 10-15 minutes and remove with a wet sponge or towel.Rinse with cool water. Use once a week.

4) Deep Cleansing Astringent Lotion Specially formulated to reduce oil secretion and effectively control acne and pimples. It is gentle but effectively deep cleans the pores and removes excess oil to keep your facial skin clean and refreshed. 

Directions : Add a few drops of the lotion on a cotton pad and wipe thoroughly over face and neck.
