Falling on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second grandest festival after the Spring Festival. It is also known as the Moon Festival, as at that time of the year the moon is at its roundest and brightest. Rather than the usual moon cakes, you may wanna get this melt in your mouth pineapple cake from Gartien packed in a lovely Mid Autumn Edition box.

Each box consist of 10 pieces individually wrapped pineapple cakes. 

You may ask, what's so special about Gartien's pineapple cake?..... Their secret home recipe are using fresh and pure ingredients, the taste of the locality that brings to its perfection. It's the best melt in the mouth pineapple cakes I've eaten. Generous filling of slightly sweet and tangy pineapples, it’s the best combination of the pineapple cake. The pineapple fillings are made of 100% fresh pineapples picked directly from nearby plantation. The pineapple go thru skinning and coring process and cut into cubes, right after picking up from the farm. The cubes are then cook for 12 hours till it is golden. This is what makes up to the juiciness and sweetness of the fillings. I can really feel chunk of real pineapples in the fillings.
