Tiger Bites : Do You Know Your Street Food by Tiger Beer.

Malaysian are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to food because of our diverse range of culture and heritage. You'll find an eatery everywhere, almost any time of the day. Those in Penang will boast they have the best char kuey teow and asam laksa, while those in Ipoh will tell you their hor fun is the best. However, Tiger Beer believes that there are hidden gems not known to many and is challenging foodies to uncage the secret street food havens throughout Malaysia in a campaign-called, Tiger Bites.

Recently, a slew of media was invited to join an 18-car convoy on a two-day street food trail to Ipoh and Penang for an unconventional gastronomic experience.

Beside the street foods, we have unlimited supply of Tiger beer and Tiger Radler too.

First stop, Dried Curry Mee for lunch in Ipoh.  It is indeed so good, zesty and spicy.
After a hearty lunch, our journey continues to Penang. 

APOM GUAN

We had this special apom for tea time snacks. Not your usual apom, Apom Guan is light and spongy with corn, sweet banana and grated coconut as fillings. I'm so in love and finished off 2 pieces in a blink of an eye.

TIGER CHAR KOAY TEOW

We are entertained by drum performances at Tiger Char Koay Teow, specially arranged by Tiger Beer.

Happiness equals a plate of awesome Penang Fried Kuey Teow with Tiger beer.

And SUPPER time! Gosh.... It's been ages I've had supper.
The all time famous Hokkien Mee of Penang (Prawn Mee) but I find this rather average though.

For the first time ever in my life, breakfast in bed.

Scrumptious brekkie of the locals favourite includes roti canai, fried lobak, har gao, bread toast, boiled egg and fruits.

One of the best meals in Penang, truly amazing kuey teow soup with in-house made eel fish ball and special minced meat.

All they have to do is to sign up and start dropping pins along their way with exciting prizes await those that participate in this seven-week long contest.
