Songkran, is a festival held in April every year celebrating the Thai New Year by throwing and sprinkling of water to their family member for good fortune. In conjunction with the traditional festival, SongkRUN the World First Water Fun-Run was held at Sepang International Circuit last Sunday. The non-competitive 5KM fun run is open to casual runners and fun seekers was split into five unique Water+Music Zones experience, such as Water Shower, Icy Experience and Fire Brigade.
SongkRUN tickets are available in 2 types
:
RM105 Standard pack comes with t-shirt, medal, waterproof pouch and wristband.
RM135 Shooter pack comes with all the above including an additional water gun.
It's not often you could get showered by the Fire Brigade. Hehehe......

The run was flagged off at 10.30am. It was indeed a hot and sunny Sunday!
Let's get drenched to beat the heat.
Unlike the usual running medal, we received this cute plastic medal with two adorable ducklings floating. The run was definitely not an easy one with a lot of uphill runs and under the hot blazing sun.
SongkRUN will soon be held in Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Sydney, Ho Chi Minh, Manila and Tokyo. Don't miss out the fun!
