New Dim Sum Creation @ Ti Chen, Saujana Hotels & Resorts (Pork Free)


Hey, foodie! A couples of weeks ago, I was at Ti Chen, Saujana Hotels & Resorts to sample the new creation of sumptuous dim sum by Dim Sum Maestro Chef Yau Kim Yew. Chef Yau has more than 16 years of experience in dim sum making and well known for his creative and tasty dim sum, hence instead of the classic dim sum, we are introduced to an assortment of lamb and beef dim sum, bah kut teh bao and many more.



First up, we were served preserved vegetable beef dumpling, in a hearty and flavourful soup.

The dumpling was sweet and tangy, it's heaven in every bite.

Next up is the Chicken Bah Kut Teh Bao.

Filled with the goodness of juicy, tender chicken with fragrant aroma of Bah Kut Teh.

Siew Mai was delicious too with flavoursome fillings.

Beautifully presented, the yam cake was top notch. Slightly crisp on the outside and moist inside.

Light and flaky pastry, generously filled with tender beef and aromatic Chinese chives.

Ended our dim sum with this pretty dumpling filled with chunks of soft and sweet pumpkin.

Last but not least, Chef Yau presented to us a claypot of porridge topped with an abundance of crab meat.

The flavourful porridge tastes even better when added with the special sauce, which brings out a hint of sweetness to the porridge.

To end our meal on a sweet note, we had the matcha tagliatelle topped with black sugar strips served in red bean paste with side durian okonomiyaki. Such a creative creation!
