Rise and shine! There I was at the Setia City Mall, Oval Field this morning attending NIVEA Empower Run 2016, organized by NIVEA Pearl & Beauty. Over 2000 participants turned up, all pumped up and ready to run with their tutu skirt. For many years, NIVEA has been encouraging women to pursue their aspirations, materialize their goals and uncover their potential that lie within themselves.
Before running, we were given NIVEA bio-degradable balloons to release into the air to symbolize the act of defying all boundaries by raising our hands with confidence.

Towards the end of the run, we get to rejuvenate with the empowering freshness of NIVEA Pearl & Beauty deodorant at the booth.
Bumped into Alice and Catherine at the finish line. Gosh...
she looks so slim now, I almost couldn't recognize her. Looks like I need to run more often. :p

Being a part of this run is not only fun, but it also gave the needy women a brighter future. Participants indirectly contributed towards helping the poor and needy as NIVEA donated the profits from the run to a charity organization 'For Wisdom & Revolutionary Development (FORWARD)'. FORWARD is an NGO accustomed towards helping the needy community by imparting proper training so that the needy can earn their bread and send their kids for proper educations.
NIVEA and FORWARD aim to help the needy and free them from poverty.
