Hello December! Yay.... it's the season to be jolly. Where do you plan to celebrate Christmas this year? Instead of the typical turkey dishes or Western cuisines, why not go Japanese for a change? Rokko Japanese Grill Restaurant situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, has come up with a delicious and value for money Christmas dinner set menu priced at RM88++ per person. The 5-course set menu is available for dinner throughout the month of December.
We kick-started our dinner with Chef's selection of appetizer featuring super sweet and meaty scallop
kimiyaki,
kanpachi topped with in-house made tomato sauce and
edamame.
Special mizuna onion salad served with cherry tomatoes and drizzled with the zesty in-house made goma sauce.
Beautifully presented individual serving of fresh salmon,
amaebi and
toro sashimi served on a bed of ice.
MAIN COURSE(Salmon, Beef or Chicken)
Pan-seared salmon served with mashed potatoes and drizzled with special mushroom white sauce.
Beef cube was nicely done and topped with special mushroom white sauce.
Succulent fried chicken cutlets served with special mushroom white sauce.
We concluded our fantastic dinner on a sweet note with the tangy sorbet served with mixed fruit.
For every two diners, you will also get a complimentary bottle of sake.
Rokko's interior actually portrays the famous Japanese guest house (Rokan) with its tranquil Zen wooden timber designs.
