G9 Skin First Lip Stick Matte (Review)

 

The star of every women's makeup routine has to be the lipstick. And we're gonna admit it, we're madly obsessed with matte lipsticks especially the one from G9 Skin First, a Korean beauty brand. Their matte lip stick is available in eight vivid shades and we are privileged to try out five of the shades which includes Midnight Red, Dry Rose, Dazzling Pink, Peach Brown and Vintage Red.

Midnight Red

 

Sexy and hot red lip, perfect for a romantic date.

 

Dry Rose

 

A pretty rosy red shade suitable to wear for work.

 

Dazzling Pink 

 

Bright pink, this is a lovely shade for those with fairer skin tone.

 

Peach Brown 

 

Cool brown tone for a nude look.

 

Vintage Red

 

Last but not least, stand out from the crowds with this dramatic red. This darker red lip colour is suitable for all skin tone.

Removal is quick and easy too. The lipstick is easily wiped off using water based makeup removal.


Which is your favourite shade?

Verdict : We love the creamy soft texture and highly pigmented formula which glides on smoothly and delivers a vivid and brilliant matte finish colour. It doesn't break on the lip and doesn't feel dry. The long lasting lip colour adheres well onto the lips, stay put for long hours and virtually doesn't need retouching. Simply adore the light feeling, just like a second skin for lasting comfort all day long. Such a lovely matte lip stick at a wonderful price point!

 

The only downside is the packaging. We find it rather bulky and such a pain to store in smaller handbag.
