Restaurant Kim Ma @ Palace of The Golden Horses



Kim Ma Restaurant located in Palace of the Golden Horses has unveiled its new look recently. We were privileged to have a first look of the newly refurbished restaurant plus an opportunity to savour a fusion of creative fine dining creation by the talented Chef Chris Lim. 



 
Flaming crispy prawn wrapped with smoked salmon in mango wasabi sauce. 
Our first dish was truly an explosion in taste as well as presentation. 

 
Served in a flame, we have fresh and succulent prawn wrapped in a thin layer of salmon topped with  the tangy mango and pungent wasabi sauce giving it a twist of flavour

 
Simply irresistible.

 

 
Double boiled minced chicken broth with fish maw and black garlic. 
Delicately done, the minced chicken consists of only lean meat was meticulously done and double boiled for at least six hours, resulting in an insanely delicious and rich in flavour broth. 

 
The wholesome broth flavour was further enhanced with the unique and nutritious black garlic adding a twist of acidic and charred after taste.

 
Poached free range chicken in morel mushroom.
Tender and succulent chicken served in a combination of breast and drumstick laden with savoury oyster sauce topped with the subtle morel mushroom.

 
Smoked beef tenderloin with Chinese tea leaf in Chef's signature sauce. 
Beautifully presented, the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, oh so tender and flavourful with a drizzle of chef's signature sauce. 


Crispy Hong Kong thin egg noodles in lobster broth.
The air-flown noodles shaped into a lovely ball were lightly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside.

 

Exceptionally springy noodle soaks up the intense lobster broth, marvellous indeed.

 
Assorted baked fruits topped with red dates and a scoop of wolfberry ice cream. 
Beautifully presented, the lovely and healthy dessert consists of assorted baked fruits. Taking ice cream to a whole new level, the wolfberry ice cream was delectable and not overly sweet.


According to Chef Chris Lim, Chinese Chef of Kim Ma Restaurant, his dishes are usually a fusion of traditional Chinese cuisines with a contemporary twist. On top of the restaurant new look, guest could  also experience an exquisite food that will delight their senses in an elegant ambiance.

  
A subtle play of shades in gold permeates the space, lending an air of noble elegance.

 

 
 The restaurant occupies 3013sqft and has a seating capacity of 120 with five private rooms.
