Best Poke Bowl in Town @ The Fish Bowl Poke Shop

The poke bowls trend are popping up here, there, it's everywhere. Ohh... if you didn't already know, the Hawaii's favourite food, poke, pronounced as "Poh-keh" actually means 'to slice or cut' in Hawaiian, refers to chunks of raw, marinated fish, tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and sauces. Eating healthy food can be yummy too. Yes... the poke bowl at The Fish Bowl is legit, even my mom approved. What's more, they also bagged Public Choice's award in the Tiffin Throwdown recently.

At The Fish Bowl, you could customize your own Poke Bowl with a selection of toppings for only RM17.90. However, it can be pretty daunting to find your favourite combination thus if you can't decide, you could also opt for their bestsellers bowl namely Shoyu Salmon, Zesty Bowl, Spicy Tuna Bowl and Salad Bowl.
Fret not, if raw fish isn't your thing, they've got chicken, soft shell crab, unagi as well as tofu for the vegan too.

Premium Poke Bowl - Crustaceans (Soft shell crab) RM25.90
My mom had the Crustaceans poke bowl.
Delectable soft shell crab tossed over brown rice, generously topped with cherry tomatoes, edamame, walnuts, pineapples, sesame seeds, fried shallots, fried garlic chips, chia seeds, ebiko (fish roe), soft shell crab and drizzled with teriyaki and monster-racha sauce. Such a beautiful and colourful poke bowl, right? Lip smackingly good too!

Sweet caramelized teriyaki unagi with an abundance of sides includes baby greens, edamame, almonds, walnuts, pineapples, poached egg, sesame seeds, fried garlic chips, chia seeds and topped with herby lime and sesame miso sauce. Definitely a filling yet nutritious meal.
We also add on salmon skin, which is simply mind blowing. The baked salmon crackling was so tasty and addictive.

Wash it all down with refreshing and thirst quenching 100% natural fresh juice. (No sugar, water or preservatives added)
