The All New Hotel On The Park @ Resorts World Genting

The Theme Park Hotel in Resorts World Genting which holds many nostalgic memories for many closed since 2013 now reopen as Hotel On The Park. The hotel's new concept 'all you see is not all you get' has no structural changes on the cards, still retained its 448 rooms perfect for families or a group of friends getaway.

As you walk into the hotel lobby, you will be greeted by a pillar of higgledy piggledy stacked 'giant' tea cups as high as the ceiling.

Don't miss your chance to take some perfect insta-worthy shot here, such as the 'giant' bench and a bank of trick mirrors which mirrored Alice's reaction as she fell into the rabbit hole in the classic Lewis Carrol story - Alice In Wonderland. Not to mention, even the public restrooms are quirky and whimsical, featuring a theme of green and white polka dots and psychedelic Easter eggs.

Another highlight of the hotel is the unique handwritten directional signs around the hotel with lots of line art and cartoons around the property. The corridor linking the two wings of the hotel also features a floor with a hopscotch pattern on it thus kids could indulge in exuberant play.

The corridor lighting illuminates the space in a wash of coloured light while the room numbers are hand painted on the floor in front of each room.

The 300sq ft Sixers room features a built-in tatami style raised platform with two queen-sized beds and a built-up bunk bed above the platform which holds another queen-sized mattress. For smaller group, you could go for Quads rooms which have two queen-sized beds accommodate up to four people in an approximately 260 sq ft space.

The bunk bed is a good option for the children clamouring to sleep on top, thus the parents can have a good rest without fidgety children in their proximity.

The unique space saving design inspiration features quirky outlines of closets, TV set hung on brackets with TV cabinet artwork around it and also an imaginary arm chair perfect to practice your wall sit. Hehehe.....

The spacious bathroom comes with two sinks, a shower room and toilet separately.

Complimentary coffee and tea is provided. By the way, if you are wondering why there is a weighing scale, it is actually a telephone. So adorable!

Can't live without your smart phone? Fret not, the power sockets and USB plugs are conveniently located next to the bedside.

Instead of heavy drapes and curtains, the blackout roller blinds with lovely hand drawn designs in white paint add a cheerful vibe to the room. Ohhh... Did I forget to mention, each room has its unique works of art too?

The breathtaking views of the mountains from our room.

Hotel On The Park also offers two handicap friendly rooms. The spacious room is equipped with a double bed and a single bed, furnished with an extra large turning surface and interconnecting rooms for families.
