Jurlique Harmonizing Herbal Recovery Facial Treatment

 
While being fit and healthy is good, we must not forget about our skin! Besides being diligent with your daily skincare routine, getting a professional facial at least once a month is essential for maintaining a healthy and youthful skin. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out Jurlique's new Harmonizing Herbal Recovery Facial Treatment, the ultimate facial for stressed, tired and dehydrated skin. Gosh... Just what I needed, especially during the year end, we just get busier than ever and I'm sure many of you can relate to this!

Jurlique Harmonizing Herbal Recovery facial treatment is an antioxidant facial treatment coupled with premium essential oil aromatheraphy deep moisturising massage to work even deeper into the skin tissues. Miko, my therapist ushered me into a dimly lit, immaculately clean and cosy treatment room. As I lay down, Miko gave me a very relaxing scalp massage and applied Lavendar Hydrating Essence onto my face to prepares my skin for deep cleansing by softening the skin surface and relaxing the pores. The facial treatment started off with cleansing and followed by the application of purifying mask which gently purifies and exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving skin clean and clear, ready for the next step. Then my face was misted with steam, to help open up the pores prior to extraction. The extraction was done throughly and skillfully, I felt minimal pain yet the result was great. After the extraction, tea tree oil was applied to soothe the skin and reduce redness.

Next, Jurlique Advanced Serum was applied to help minimize the appearance of fine lines, improve elasticity, increase hydration and restore radiance. To further increase the absorption, an ultrasound machine was used to break the serum into nanoparticles to help it penetrate deep under the skin whilst stimulate blood circulation. The cherry on top to facial treatment!

A few sprays of the refreshing Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist, and here comes the part I enjoyed most, massage! The shoulder and face massage was deftly carried out with Miko constantly checking with me, on my preferred pressure, is it too soft or too hard? From the soothing background music, Miko's wonderful touch and a combination of Jurlique's premium essential oil, it truly elevate my massage to a rejuvenating experience.

As the facial came to an end, a Vitamin C enriched mask treatment was applied to help even out my skin's tone and reduce the appearance of freckles, revitalize skin and followed by serum, moisturiser and sunblock.

I absolutely enjoyed the Jurlique Harmonizing Herbal Recovery facial treatment. After the facial, my blackheads and clogged pores were less significant, my skin felt much smoother, firmer, well-hydrated and look more radiant.
