Mandala Cafe & Bar @ Publika

Weekend chill vibes be like.....
Don't we all always look forward to the weekend? Work hard, play hard, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending quality time over great foods and drinks after a week of hard work. So last weekend, while looking for a place to chill at Publika, we chanced upon MANDALA Cafe & Bar.

The cafe & bar exudes a modern and cosy ambiance, perfect to unwind over a specialty cocktail, a glass or two of wine with delectable small bites or even main course. Barely open a month, MANDALA Cafe & Bar has served distinguished customers like Celebrities Jimmy Choo & Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei. Anyway, here are some of the dishes we tried the other day.

Tom Yum Popcorn Chicken RM16
Moist and tender, these flavourful boneless spicy and crispy popcorn chicken was absolutely delicious and addictive. Must try!

Fried Chicken Wings RM18
Coated with sweet honey garlic sauce, the deep fried chicken wings were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, wonderfully juicy and succulent.

Lemon, Garlic & Butter Mussels RM33 (served with garlic toast)
This one was my least favourite dish of the evening. The green mussels topped with homemade garlic, butter and lemon sauce were rather bland and a tad dry too.

Grilled Chicken with Buttermilk Sauce RM20

Perfectly grilled, the boneless chicken laden with aromatic spices was served with the signature creamy and delicious buttermilk sauce, garlic toast and salad on the side.

Golden Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti RM28
This tasty al dente pasta laced in a creamy and fragrant buttermilk sauce comes with one whole lightly fried crispy golden soft shell crab. Great value, I reckon!

Black Angel Pasta with Grilled Chicken RM18
Wonderfully fragrant, the special garlic and herbs sauce coated the spaghetti well giving it a robust flavour while the grilled chicken bits adds texture.

Pepperoni Pizza RM18
Flaky thin crust, the mouth-watering pizza was topped with an abundance of beef pepperoni and cheese.

Rich Chocolate Brownie RM16

Served warm, the rich and moist chocolate brownies topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream was heavenly.
