Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral Introduces 3 Course Set Menu
From now until 31st March 2018, Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral's all-day dining restaurant introduces a 3-course set menu specially created by Executive Chef Arfizan Abdul Rahim. The 3-course menu features an appetizer, main course and dessert with an option of wine pairing with the meal, or without the pairing, priced at RM158nett and RM98nett respectively.
Appetizer - Warm Green Pea Soup with Seared Scallop, Lumpfish Roe and Parmesan Foam
Warm and velvety, the soup was complemented with the bursting flavours of fish roe and succulent scallop. The creamy soup best paired with a glass of Chile's Casillero Del Diabolo Sauvignon Blanc.
Main course - Slow Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Saffron Potato, Risotto Chips and Chives Bearnaise
The delicately prepared risotto chips offer a crispy bite to the succulent meat and its creamy sauce.
A glass of Californian Woodbridge, Merlot, Robert Mondavi goes really well with the red meat.
Main course - Pan-seared Salmon Trout with Prawn Mousse, Taro Chips and Orange Beurre Blanc
Crisp skin, moist and sweet tasting flakes of salmon flesh, best complemented with a glass of Australian Wolf Bass Bilyara Chardonnay.
Dessert - Vanilla Panna Cotta With Berry Gastrique, Mascarpone Ice Cream and Orange Sauce
The combination of sweet and zesty citrus flavours of the panna cotta definitely ends our meal on a high note. Not to mention, the in-house made rich and creamy mascarpone ice cream was absolutely amazing too!
The young and talented Executive Chef, Arfizan Abdul Rahim has recently been appointed as the Executive Chef for Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral specialising in Western cuisine. At the tender age of 35, Klang born Arfizan has over 17 years of experience in the culinary industry.
