LuLuFa Hotpot @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Steamboat or hotpot is one of my favourite food, I often crave for a good pot of steamboat, fresh ingredients cooked in a pot of tasty broth, such a simple delicious affair. Recently, yours truly and a few friends decided to get together for dinner at LuLuFa Hotpot upon a friend's recommendation. Nestled in the busy streets of SS15 Subang Jaya, LuLuFa  Hotpot pride themselves on serving the ultimate steamboat experience with fresh ingredients, delicious broth and a range of delectable premium hand-picked dipping ingredients.

The set menu priced at RM17.90 per person (min order of 2 persons) includes a variety of meatballs, beancurd, tofu, dumpling, Tiger prawn, Dragon Tiger grouper, pumpkin, eggs, noodles, vegetables and comes with refillable superior soup.
We had a mix of Lulu's Signature pork bone broth RM12.90 (Half) RM20.90 (Full) and Spicy Szechuan Ma La RM15.90 (Half) RM25.90 (Full) which were both incredibly flavorful and simply satisfying. Made from scratch of quality bones, LuLu's Signature Pork Bone Broth is simmered for hours, a definite love at first dip. Whilst, the aromatic Spicy Szechuan Ma La with an alluring deep-red hue has a pleasant tingle from the peppercorns but not overpowering at all. If you fancy something spicy and sour, the Tom yum soup RM4.90 (Half) RM8.90 (Full) is a comforting soup that fills you up and makes you feel good.

We also had platters of Fried seaweed tofu curd RM2.90, Shitake mushroom RM4.90, air-flown Hong Kong bean curd roll RM12.90 (7 pcs), premium slices of beef rib eye RM11.90 (6 pcs) and Dumpling RM4.90. Be sure to try all especially the Hong Kong bean curd roll!
Apart from that, fresh slices of Dragon Tiger grouper, barramundi, Tiger prawn, clam, assorted meatballs, mushroom and vegetables were available too.

Also worth mentioning were the home-made specialties paste and a variety of pork balls hand-made to perfection.

The restaurant is fully air-conditioned, complemented with warm lighting and chic decor make your dining experience pleasurable.
