Christmas & New Year 2019 Celebrations @ Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Christmas is just over a month away, if you're planning on dining out this year, why not head over to Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur's for its festive season offering. From the sumptous festive buffet spread to room promotions, not to mention the delectable takeaways, all these are available throughout the month of December 2018 specially catered for Christmas and New Year's Eve.

COFFEE HOUSE

On 24^th and 25^th December 2018, diners can indulge in a Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and Christmas Day Hi Tea at the Coffee House located in Level 9 of the Hotel. The Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner starts at 6.00 p.m. till 10.30 p.m. is priced at MYR148 nett per adult and MYR74 nett for child aged 7 to 12 years old, whilst the Christmas Day Buffet Hi-Tea starts at 12.00 noon till 4.00 p.m. is priced at MYR98 nett per adult and MYR49 nett for child aged 7 to 12 years old. Kids below 7 years old eat for free for both buffet promotions.

Indulge in a vast selections of Executive Chef Rossham Rosli’s special Christmas menu creations of Beef Steak Medallion with Creamy Sarawak Green Pepper Sauce, Norwegian Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, Tiger Prawns with Butter Garlic and Black Pepper, Beef Wellington, New Zealand Mussels, Korean Oysters, Monkfish Fillet, Supreme Duck with Creamy Fruity Curry Sauce and many more. Diners will have the opportunity to sample sweet delights such as Pumpkin Cinnamon Cheese Cake, Red Dragon Fruit Mousse Cake, Honey Bread, Christmas Cookies and Log Cakes, Ginger Cream Brulee, Christmas Pudding with Vanilla Sauce and Gelato. In addition, there will be a special appearance by Christmas Carollers on Christmas Eve while children can have fun at the mini playground near the area adjacent to the dining area of the Coffee House. 

On 31^st December 2018 and 1^st January 2019, the New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner and New Year’s Day Buffet Hi-tea are available priced at MYR148 nett per person and MYR98 nett per person respectively. Children aged 7 to 12 years old is priced at MYR74 nett and MYR49 for Buffet Eve Dinner and Buffet Hi Tea respectively (free for children aged 6 years and below). For seafood aficionados, you'll be glad to know that there's a myriad of Sushi, Seafood On Ice with Fresh Prawns, Crab Sticks, Crispy Shrimp Wantan, Seafood Porridge and Prawns Bisque, on top of over 50 choices on the buffet counters. In addition, for those who crave to local delights, you could opt for Chicken Biryani, Sup Gear Box, Dim Sum, Yong Tau Foo, Satay and many more. For healthier options, diners can opt for a mixture of salads and appetizers, some of the highlights includes Smoked Salmon with Sweet Dill Mustard Sauce, Beef Carpaccio with Cheese and Rocket Salad, Creamy Asparagus Soup and Oriental Duck Salad.

GEN JAPANESE RESTAURANT, LEVEL 10

If you're a Japanese food lover, don't miss out on the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner available on 24^th and 31^st December respectively. Tantalize your taste buds with a vast selections of fusion Japanese delights such as Yellow Tail Sashimi, White Tuna Sushi, Seaweed Sushi, Japanese Traditional Rolls, Grilled Eel and Cucumber Sushi Rolls, Soft Shell Crab Rolls, Spicy Dynamite Sushi Rolls, Shabu-Shabu and Grilled Spanish Mackerel with Salt. Moreover, the Cold Dish section serves Smoked Duck, Prawn with Avocado Salad, Japanese Egg Omelette and Vegetables Salad. Want more? Diners will not be disappointed with delicious Deep-fried Bread Crumbs Oysters, Steamed Egg Custard, Japanese Fried Rice and Batter Seafood and Vegetables. Dessert will be served with choices of Japanese Rice Cake with Mixed Peanuts, Assorted Ice-cream and Japanese Pan Cake.

ATRIUM LOUNGE, LEVEL 9

From 1 to 31^st December 2018, the Atrium Lounge offers an assortment of Christmas savouries and sweet delights. You can pre-order and collect from the Atrium counter. Prices start from MYR5 to MYR158 per selection. Among the selections are Roasted Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing and Gravy, Roasted Lamb Leg, Roasted Lamb Rack Roasted, Beef Striploin, Chicken Lasagne (MYR63 nett per tray) and Beef Lasagne. For sweet savouries, there are Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Mushroom Pie, Chicken Onion Quiche and Salmon Quiche.

 

The desserts choices include Christmas’ Pudding and Christmas’ Cake, Vanilla, Chocolate or Caramel Yule; Ginger Bread House; and Cinnamon Star.
