Merry Christmas! Greetings from my home away from home.
Over the weekend, we checked into the brand new Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, a residential-styled hotel in the posh Mont'Kiara for a short yet sweet staycation. Newly launched about a month ago, the Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur offers 298 stylish contemporary, residentially inspired studios and suites, equipped with a full kitchen, living rooms with comfy sofas, bedrooms with plush beds and modern bathrooms, where guests can literally live just as they would at home, be it for business or leisure travelers. Ideally located in the exclusive international cosmopolitan enclave of Mont'Kiara, the hotel is just a short drive away from the city and minutes away from world-class shopping malls, international schools, commercial centers, restaurants and leisure facilities.
From the moment we step into the lobby, we were totally mesmerized by the modern, sleek and elegant decor. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous, check-in and check-out was a breeze.
The business center in the Commons equipped with computers complimentary for in-house guests to use.
The suites are designed to be homey with splashes of cool colours, eye-catching paintings and soothing warm light that will make you feel comfy and not wanting to leave.
Our stylish 50sqm one bedroom suite features a spacious work area, separate living and sleeping area with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel also has a 'borrow' program where you can borrow appliances or items without extra charge such as blender, bottle warmer, rice cooker, DVD player, curling iron, clothes steamer etc.

Complimentary bottled water, coffee/tea making facilities and free wifi are provided.
Super soft pillows, crisp and clean bed sheets, I fall asleep like a baby on the comfy plush king-sized Hyatt Grand Bed.
The spacious room also includes a wardrobe, dresser space and a stylish bathroom with a glass walk-in rain shower.
Complimentary
toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided too.
The hotel also has a game room which features a pool table and table football, ideal for the whole family to enjoy.
For fitness enthusiasts, you'll be glad to know that the workout room is open 24 hours, every day! The gym is well-equipped with Life Fitness™ cardio and strength equipment, not to mention, a spacious exercise space with a large mirror.
Set atop the Hyatt House, take a dip in the rooftop infinity Sky Pool and swim alongside breathtaking amazing cityscape views.
Can't help feeling on top of the world with my signature pose on the edge of the infinity pool. :p
The next morning, we woke up early to enjoy the complimentary Morning Spread buffet breakfast at The Gallery.
The buffet spread comprises of local favourite nasi lemak, sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, pastries, pau, toast, cereals, made-to-order noodles, juices, milk, fruits, coffee and tea.
Ahh... nothing beats a piping hot bowl of noodle.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed every part of our staycation at Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur. It was a great weekend getaway in the city, there's just so much to do in and out of the hotel. If you are driving, parking aplenty, but do note that hotel guest will be charged a flat rate of RM15 per entry.
