Brasserie Leon, The Classic French Steak & Fries @ Greens Terrace, TTDI

Bon Appetit! Hearty, delicious French cuisine with good portions and affordable prices, you can find all these at Brasserie Leon. Nestled in Greens Terrace, TTDI, this newly opened restaurant offers classic French comfort food at its best. On our recent visit, we tried almost everything on the menu and everything was unbelievably good.

What better way to whet the appetite than these tasty appetizers!

BITES
Homemade Bread RM5.90
The homemade bread was well-browned with a lovely crust on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and served with a dollop of homemade butter.

Deep Fried Brie Cheese RM15.90

Each ball was deep fried till golden brown and bursting with warm, gooey goodness of brie cheese, just heavenly on its own and even better when paired with the sweet and tangy caramelised red onion chutney.

Baked Shell-less Escargots RM16.90 (half dozen)
The tender escargots drenched in garlic butter sauce were absolutely amazing. Don't forget to dunk your bread into the sauce to soak up every drop of the fragrant sauce.

Flamed Cured Mackerel RM13.90
The fish was succulent with a subtle hint of smoked flavour and generously topped with pickles cucumber and shallot vinaigrette which add a heavenly depth of flavour to the dish.

Traditional Raclette RM32.90
Originates from Wallis, Switzerland, raclette is a play on the French word 'racler' meaning 'to scrape' describing the method of preparation that still used today in Valais and in gastronomy to describe the typical way of preparing cheese.

The gooey, melted decadent raclette cheese was served with baked potatoes, onion pickles and gherkins. Be sure to enjoy this while it's warm!

MAINS
Roasted Spring Chicken RM19.90 (half bird)
Served with a traditional chicken jus, the chicken was juicy and tender with a nice hint of smoky flavour.

Grilled Australian Grain-fed Beef Striploin RM49.90 (180grm)

The steak served with their secret herb sauce was cooked to our desired doneness, medium-rare with a lovely hint of pink in the middle. Highly recommended!

Roasted Salmon Steak RM59.90
Ahh.. this is definitely my favourite dish here! Amazingly moist and flavourful, the salmon were cooked to perfection and served on a bed of rich and creamy beurre blanc sauce. Two thumbs up for the sauce!

All the mains come with homemade French fries and a bowl of green salad.

Frankly, I am not a big fan of fries, but their homemade French fries are to die for! Super crispy and packed with flavour, I swear this is the best fries I've tasted by far.

DESSERTS
Creme Brulee RM9.90
Rich and creamy with a subtle hint of vanilla flavour, this is truly indulgence at its best!

Chocolate Mousse RM10.90
Made with 70% dark chocolate, the chocolate mousse is deliciously light and I love that it's not overly sweet.

Tiramisu Verrine RM10.90
Homemade espresso genoise filled with luscious cream, just divine.

The drink menu consists of white and red wines, bottle beer, whisky, coffee and tea, juice as well as soft drinks. They charge RM2.90 per table for filtered water with all proceeds go to the "Helping Hands Penan" charity NGO.

The restaurant exudes an elegant yet casual atmosphere, brightly lit with natural lights thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Garden like al-fresco dining area.
