Greetings from Ancasa Royale, Pekan!
A few weeks ago, we visited the Royal Town of Pekan, Pahang for the first time and had the pleasure to stay in Ancasa Royale. The luxurious 4-star Ancasa Royale Hotel boasts the best views of Pahang river and within a short distance to the local attractions. It has a total of 133 guest rooms featuring large bay windows with a panoramic view of the
river and super comfy bed for a good night's sleep. The rooms are stylish with sizes ranging from 45 sq.m to 326 sq.
m equipped with a TV, air conditioning and a comfortable seating area, modern en-suite bathroom which includes a bathtub and premium bath toiletries.
The lobby features earth tones furnishings complete with a pool table and a table soccer to entertain guests.
Checking in was a breeze with the welcoming and friendly front desk staff.

Our room for 2 nights! The spacious room (45 sq.m) was immaculate and comfortable, I had a great night's sleep.
Love this cosy sitting area, the view is amazing!
The room is equipped with a flat screen TV, fridge, iron & ironing board, safe box, complimentary WI-FI, toiletries and coffee/tea making facilities.
Even the bathroom offers plenty of space and comes with a bathtub and separate
rainshower.

Fun fact! Did you know Pekan got its name from a flower? The Bunga Pekan used to grow along the Pahang River banks. At Ancasa Royale, the beautiful flower motifs were adorned everywhere, from the carpet to wall decor.

Ancasa Royale boasts a large outdoor swimming pool set in the tropical greenery, perfect for some splashing fun.
There is also a children's playground to keep the kids entertained.

The hotel's gym located on the 2nd floor is open from 7am to 9pm daily. It is well-equipped with cardio and resistance equipment plus a range of free weights.

Cemara Puri Spa
Located within the hotel, Ancasa Spa offers holistic Malay body massages, foot reflexology, facials, body scrubs and wraps with all-natural spices and essential oil blends.
We had the pleasure to experience their therapeutic Malay traditional massage priced at RM130 for 60min. The skilled massage therapist uses long kneading strokes with firm palm and thumb pressure points to relieve my body stiffness and improve blood flow. I love how she constantly checks with me throughout my session if the massage pressure is good to make sure I feel comfortable. I felt absolutely relaxed post-massage.
S2dio Sports Bar & Cafe
For those seeking a fun night out, head over to S2dio at Level 2. Enjoy the night away with a sing-along session with your friends or catch the live performance happening on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 6pm to 12 midnight.
Ancasa Royale offers a variety of comprehensive event space equipped with state of the art LCD projectors and screens, complimentary WI-FI, and top-notch audio visual for seminars, meetings, conferences and events.

Dining - Saffron Brasserie
We had our breakfast at Saffron Brasserie, an all-day dining restaurant which serves a scrumptious spread of local and International cuisine.
Roti Naik
Super soft and fluffy, this homemade bread taste almost like a potato bread pair perfectly with
sambal or curry.
Not to forget, the mouth-watering rich and creamy Patin Tempoyak and appetizing Sambal Hitam.
Another must try when you're in Pekan is the Puding Raja, a sweet dish consists of
jala mas, bananas, prunes, cashew nuts and candied cherries served with evaporated milk.
The Steamboat Hi-Tea priced at RM38nett per person is available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
Meanwhile, 'King of Grill' BBQ dinner available on every Friday and Saturday priced at RM50nett per adult and RM35nett per child
