Toss to Prosperity for The Year of the Rat 2020 @ Royal Gourmet Restaurant, Premiere Hotel


Lou hei... lou hei..... toss to prosperity this Lunar New Year with Premiere Hotel, Klang.  Located on the Lower Ground floor of Premiere Hotel, the Royal Gourmet Restaurant's culinary team has curated three set menus to usher in the prosperous Year of the Metal Rat available from 16 December 2019 to 8 February 2020. Come savour scrumptious Lunar New Year delights in a warm, welcoming ambiance and enjoy a reunion celebration like no other. The Chinese New Year set menus are priced at RM1088+ (Menu A), RM1288+ (Menu B) and RM1688+ (Menu C) per table for 10 people.

Abundance of Nobility Salmon and Kwai Fei Abalone "Yee Sang"
No reunion dinner is complete without the tossing of yee sang, a symbolic gesture of ushering in good luck, prosperity and all things auspicious. Yummy, colourful and refreshing, the Fortune Yee Sang available in two sizes, small and large with price starting from RM68+.

The lovely platter features stuffed crab, crabstick rolls and chilled jelly fish.

Braised Crab Meat Soup with Fish Maw & Dried Scallop
Hearty and comforting, this luscious soup was generously laden with crab meat, fish maw and dried scallop.

'Hong Kong' Style Roaster Prosperity Chicken with Chinese Herbs
I really enjoyed this, the chicken was roasted perfectly, every bite was truly succulent and delicious.

Steamed Red Snapper with Minced Ginger & Garlic Sauce
The fish was sweet and firm in texture, wonderfully complemented by the flavourful sauce. It was divine!

Baked Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk and Cereal Oat
A decent portion of juicy and succulent prawns coated with salted egg yolk and crisp oat.

Braised Baby Abalone with Black Moss, Tau Kan, Mushroom & Seasonal Garden Green
An auspicious dish not to be missed featuring wonderfully braised baby abalone with black moss, tau kan, mushroom and broccoli.

Hong Kong Style Glutinous Rice with Waxed Meat in Lotus Leaf
Flavourful glutinous rice served with assorted waxed meat.

Double  Boiled Pear and Snow Fungus with Honey Seed & Special Home-made Dessert
