Hey lovelies! After being cooped up at home for almost two years due to the pandemic, we are glad that we finally have the chance to go for a weekend staycation aka romantic getaway at the Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort. The hotel is just 30 minutes drive away from KL city boasts two championship golf courses is not only a perfect place to unwind but also improving your golfing skills.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the bubbly and friendly front desk receptionist. Check-in was a breeze and we even have the friendly staff help with our luggage.

I know, Valentine's Day is over but love should be celebrated every day, no? The hotel currently offers romantic themed staycation 'Inspire Romance' package perfect for couples that includes:

Our spacious room was beautifully decorated with gorgeous swan towels and red roses on the bed creates a romantic atmosphere.

The comfy bed also came with two types of pillow, soft and firm.
Apart from the lovely room decor, I just can't stop admiring this stunning serene lush greenery view from our room.
Basic bathroom amenities are provided as well.
The room also equipped with a flat screen TV and working desk as well as mini fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, safe box, iron, ironing board and hair dryer.
Now onto our romantic, private dining! Our dinner was delivered to the room and I like the fact that our food comes with food warmer to keep them warm and fresh. Thumbs up for the great service!
Our 4-course dinner menu includes a starter (choice of caeser salad or soup), main course (choice of chicken schnitzel or ribeye or salmon), dessert (choice of fruits platter or bread pudding) and mocktail.
We had an absolute amazing dinner, everything was beautifully presented and so tasty, only thing missing was candlelit! :p
Fresh and crisp Caesar Salad with Boiled Eggs, Croutons and Crispy Bacon. Love the generous portion!
The Ribeye Steak looks overcooked to me but I've only got myself to blame for not informing my desired doneness when placing the order.
The Pan-Seared Salmon was heavenly, crisp skin and tender, moist flesh.
End our meal on a sweet note with Fresh Fruits and Fruits Bread Pudding.
Rise and shine! We had a great night's sleep.

Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort offers a range of recreational facilities such as outdoor pool, sauna, a tennis court, squash court and fitness centre.
The hotel's fitness centre located at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club is well-equipped with state-of-the-art treadmills, strength machines and free weights.
The breakfast buffet at the restaurant starts from 6.30am - 10.30am everyday. I like that the food choices are aplenty, from continental to local delights, porridge and noodles as well as a live omelette station, they have it all.
After starting our day strong at the gym, we then headed to breakfast at the Kite Restaurant.
