Hey! In case you didn't know I'm a big fan of steamboat especially when it's unlimited free refills of food. Recently, we chanced upon a new restaurant by the name of Setia City Palace 8, a pork-free restaurant which is located on the ground floor of Setia City Convention Centre (next to Setia City shopping mall).
For only RM78+ per adult and RM40+ per child, you can feast on a selection of good quality seafood, meats, assorted fish balls, mushrooms, vegetables and many more.
Think fresh king prawn, tiger prawn, sea clam, razor clam, mussel, jelly fish, dorman fish and more. So fresh, so delish, you can't get enough!
Look at how big and plump the scallops are!
Tuck into a variety of scrumptious skewers such as squid, marinated beef and lamb, black pepper chicken, sausage, stuffed bean curd skin, fish roll, oyster mushroom and golden mushroom ham wrap, just to name a few. Instead of BBQ grill, you can request the chef to deep fried these skewers too.

Not forgetting, an assortment of noodles plus a generous selection of vegetables such as cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach and many more.
There's also many different kinds of dipping sauces such as prawn paste chili, sesame, yellow chili, Thai Spicy chili and more, take your pick from tangy to sweet or spicy. Not forgetting, spring onions, chopped chili and corianders.
Their choice of broth include palace chicken stock, palace special tomato, Korean kimchi, Thai tom yam and satay lok lok. Each broth is priced at RM15 and you may opt for 4 different broths. Personally, I really enjoyed the chicken stock and tom yum broth, absolutely comforting and flavourful.
There are table for 4 pax and large group of up to 10 pax, each table comes with a pot and grill pan.
Don't forget to round up your meal with ice cream, mochi, fruits and free flow drinks, both hot and cold available.
Highly recommend this mouth-watering mango sago.
