Usher in ‘Raya Meriah Max’ and Spread The Festive Cheer

In anticipation for the joyous celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, MyTOWN Shopping Centre (MyTOWNKL) has launched “Raya Meriah Max” and warmly welcomes shoppers to enjoy a wonderful shopping experience that will surely bring everyone back to yonder days.

Showcasing warm and nostalgic festive decors, this design is inspired by the traditional Malay village house which represents the true essence of the festive season. Complete with traditional performing area or ‘panggung’, the decoration features intricate details such as traditional wooden panels, combined with modern elements of clean lines, bold colours, and contemporary shapes; complemented with eye-catching batik fabric, hanging from the roofs tops throughout Central Town.

According to Mohd Azhan Che Mat, General Manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre, “It has been an extremely promising year for us as we’ve had experience an increase of 175% in sales growth year-on-year. To further hype up the celebration, MyTOWNKL and IKANO Centres released “Raya Meriah Max”, a brand video that highlights the message of joyful celebration can bring people together and create unforgettable memories. The air is filled with laughter, music, and the aromas of delicious food, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and happiness.”

Starting from 31 March until 1 May 2023, shoppers are welcomed to participate in an array of Raya activities and be mesmerised by special performances while shopping or dining at MyTOWNKL. As such, a post office setting with retro mailbox is re-created for the convenience of the shoppers to deliver their festive greetings – a proud collaboration with Pos Malaysia.
